Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Gun Form & Rod Form

We are almost near completion of the Den-o collection with the advent of the two-pack, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Gun Form & Rod Form. Gun Form features are associated with a dragon with purple color motif and those huge towers on his shoulders. On the other hand Rod Form got some blue armor parts with hints of a turtle patterns. Both share the same leg design but the colors on the thigh plates change to match the design on the figures.

Each form has 7 hands each, holstered Dengasher pieces that attach on their belts and their own Rider Pass. But the holding hands differ from each other in order to hold their respective weapons. Gun Form only has 1 Dengasher in Gun Mode while Rod Form has two versions of the Dengasher with one that is bent with a thin nylon string and a plastic hook at the end.

Bringing in these two known characters as a two-pack set, is a wise business move for Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts line. The execution is as great as Sword and Ax Form and there is nothing I could complain about Gun and Rod form. Just be careful and avoid tugging the nylon string on Rod Form’s Dengasher. So far, I have yet to see a Den-O figure that I don’t like in S.H. Figuarts form. More to this from the review below.
